Kogi at 34: Youth Commissioner Felicitates With State, Praises Gov. Ododo

On the occasion of Kogi State’s 34th anniversary, Hon. Monday Aridaojo Anyebe, Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, has joined millions of Kogites at home and abroad in celebrating the state’s journey since its creation in 1991.
In his congratulatory message, titled “Happy Anniversary Kogi State”, Commissioner Anyebe commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his “purposeful leadership” and commitment to building a united, peaceful, and prosperous Confluence State. He noted that under the Governor’s administration, development continues to impact all sectors, inspiring confidence in the state’s future.
The Commissioner also praised the people of Kogi State for their resilience and strength in diversity, highlighting the contributions of the youth in sports, entrepreneurship, and innovation. According to him, their courage and creativity prove that the future of Kogi is bright.
“As we mark this milestone, let us renew our pledge to work together as one united family, harnessing our resources, talents, and potentials to write the next glorious chapter of our history,” Anyebe stated.
He concluded by wishing Kogites a happy anniversary and extolling the state’s enduring spirit, saying, “Long live our people, long live Kogi State, and long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
