Kogi Central female appointees pass vote of confidence on Engr. Abubakar Ohere

  • …describes him as best candidate to represent Kogi Central Senatorial District

Female Appointees, from across the five Local Government Areas that makes Kogi Central Senatorial Districts have passed a vote of confidence on Engr. Abubakar Ohere, describing him as the best candidate to represent the interest of the people at the red chambers.

The vote of confidence was passed on the Kogi Central Senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) Engr. Ohere yesterday at a meeting of the body in Government House, Lokoja led by managing Director, KEDA, Rekiya Onaivo Sanni

According to them, through the years Engr. Ohere’s antecedents as a two-term commissioner on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and Works and Housing respectively stand topnotch, before his emergence as the APC candidate to represent the good people of Kogi Central in the 2023 general elections.

“He has made realistic impacts by ensuring that traditional stools are upgraded, road constructions, and other infrastructures across the state were well attended to by the approval of the governor.

“We are delighted to announce to the world that he has empowered both old and the young men and women across kogi central and the kogi state in general.

“He has given educational scholarships to many youths, and created means of livelihood for many through various empowerment programmes.

“Engr. Abubakar Ohere is a leader of excellence who will deliver policies that will further promote the already established security architecture of the administration of Alhaji Yahaya Bello, restoration of Ajaokuta Steel Company, road networks, industrialization, and a conducive environment to attract investors.

“We, the female appointees from kogi central, have no doubt that if he is elected as the senator, he will further empower more women, create more empowerment, and create more beautiful policies that will transform the central senatorial district of the state.

“Ohere is a leader with all the right qualities you could want from a leader. He possesses self-awareness, garner credibility, focuses on relationship-building, has a bias for action, exhibits humility, empowers others, stays authentic, presents himself as constant and consistent, he is a role model and ever ready to listen to his followers and supporters.

“He respects others with their opinions and has empathy, and a spirit of gratitude because he values all valuable contribution people make to make his job easier while he was a commissioner.

“It is no doubt that if elected, he will deliver the dividends of democracy to the good people of kogi central,” they explained.
