Kogi Chapter 'I Stand With Buhari' felicitates Onoja over nomination to fly APC joint ticket with Gov Bello »

Kogi State Chapter of the Buhari’ campaign sub – organisation, ‘I Stand With Buhari’ has felicitated the Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Hon Edward Onoja over his nomination to be the co – candidate with the incumbent as APC candidate for Kogi governorship election in November, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.

A statement signed by its coordinator for the state, Hon Vally Ujah quoted that Onoja’s nomination was a further testimony of the people’s confidence in his ability to deliver.

Hon Vally said the office of the Deputy Governor was for serious minded and effective personalities, hence his organisation was not surprised about the decision to have people of strong character like Onoja occupy it in Kogi State.

“Your pedigree, coupled with commitment and loyalty to your boss and indeed our great party (APC) speak volumes anywhere you are and in all the capacities you have so far been saddled with.

“We cannot forget the wonderful reception accorded us during our maiden visit to your office after our inauguration in Abuja and the subsequent assistants during the visit of our Principal, Prince Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja.

“You have been a true party man ready to assist in all activities that would promote the image of government at both the state and at national levels.

“We therefore remain grateful to His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello and other party leaders for the wise choice of Hon Edward Onoja as the deputy governorship candidate and pray to God to steer this ship to the promised land.”
