Kogi Commissioner’s Aide, Rufus Obafemi, Urges Ex-Ijumu LG Chairman to Rejoin APC in Support of Gov. Ododo’s Progress Agenda

During the burial reception of Late Olori Julianah Ayodele Fagbemi in Ekirin-Adde, the Personal Assistant to the Honorable Commissioner for Education, Mr. Rufus Obafemi, delivered a heartfelt appeal to the former Chairman of Ijumu Local Government Area and Director General of the Campaign Council for Kogi West, Muri/Abenemi.

Mr. Obafemi urged the former Council Boss to set aside political differences and consider rejoining the All Progressives Congress (APC) to support the good work and continuity agenda of His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo.

Speaking passionately at the event, Mr. Obafemi emphasized the inclusive governance style of Governor Ododo’s administration, which prioritizes Education, Health, Security, Human Development, and Stomach Infrastructure.

“I want to urge you to come back to your former party and support the administration of His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo. The state is in need of your experience and dedication to propel its growth and development,” Mr. Obafemi expressed.

In response, the former Council Boss lauded the achievements of Governor Ododo’s administration, particularly commending the prompt payment of civil servant’s salaries, enhanced security, and initiatives focused on stomach infrastructure.

“I appreciate the progress made by His Excellency and acknowledge the positive impact of his policies. I pledge my support towards advancing the agenda of development and prosperity for our people,” the former Chairman affirmed.

The call for unity and collaboration to support Governor Ododo’s vision for Kogi State underscores the importance of working together for the betterment of all citizens. As the state continues on its path of growth and transformation, the involvement and cooperation of all stakeholders remain crucial for sustainable progress.
