Kogi East Senator Spreads Easter Cheer with Rice Distribution »

Senator Jibrin Isah Echocho from Kogi East has embarked on a heartwarming initiative to bring joy to constituents by distributing bags of rice to the nine local government area of his district ahead of Easter celebration.

Senator Isah known for his commitment to community welfare, organized the distribution as a gesture of support and solidarity during the festive season. The initiative according to the lawmaker aims to alleviate the economic burden on families and individuals, especially amidst prevailing economic challenges across the country.

The bags of rice were handed over to the chairmen of the local government areas at Anyigba for onward distribution to constituents.

In his Easter message, Senator Jibrin Isah called on Christians, especially his constituents to draw spiritual inspiration from the Easter story, urging them to reflect on the sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus Christ. He said Christians should use the season to demonstrate Christ-like concern for the less fortunate and promote unity in the nation. He also called for renewed commitment to the service of the nation and to pray for peace and sustenance of national unity.
