Kogi East SSAs Declare Support for Governor Ododo’s Re-election, Plan Leadership Summit

The Kogi East Forum of Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has passed a vote of confidence on the Governor, pledging their total support for his re-election.

The declaration was made on Tuesday during the general meeting of the forum held in Lokoja, where members lauded Governor Ododo’s performance since assuming office.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Forum and SSA on Student Affairs, Hon. Emmanuel Ojodunwene (Mario), said the Governor has recorded remarkable achievements in security, education, healthcare, agriculture, youth development, and civil service welfare. He noted that the SSAs from Kogi East are united in their call for Ododo’s second term to consolidate the development strides recorded so far.

“We are fully committed to hitting the ground running with adequate grassroots sensitization to spread the goodwill of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo,” Ojodunwene assured.

As part of its resolutions, the forum announced plans to organize a two-day leadership summit aimed at acquainting appointees with their roles and responsibilities. A committee chaired by Ojodunwene was set up to drive the planning of the summit.

In continuation of their engagements, members of the forum paid a courtesy visit to the Director General of Protocol, Government House, Hon. Suleiman Ibrahim, to seek his guidance and support for the proposed summit.

In his response, Ibrahim commended the forum for its initiative and pledged to mobilize support for the success of the event. He described Governor Ododo as a humane and development-driven leader, urging the SSAs to remain worthy ambassadors of the Governor in their respective local government areas.
