Kogi F.A condoles with Gov. Bello over mother’s demise »

Kogi State Football Association has sent its condolence message to the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello over the death of his mother, Hajiya Hawawu Oziohu Bello, who passed on after a brief illness at 101.

In a statement issued in Lokoja by the F.A Chairman, Alhaji Umarr Sulaiman Isah on behalf of the board and management, described the death as shocking, and prayed for the repose of her soul.

“Your Excellency, the news of the death of Mama came as a shock to the entire Football Association as death is never one that is envisaged.

“While we join you in mourning the death of a matriarch, we are consoled by the legacies and good will she has left behind, one, which is you and the lives she has touched while sojourning this world.

“We pray that the soul of Hajiya Hawawu is admitted into Aljannatul Firdaus and that Allah grant the entirety of your family the Ihman to bear this grave lost.

“Your Excellency, Accept our deepest condolences”.
