Kogi Finance Commissioner, Asiru to head 2020 'NOCOFED' LOC »

Kogi State Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Hon. Asiwaju Idris has been nominated as the Chairman local organising committee ahead of the 2020 National Council on Finance and Economic Development ( NACOFED).

The Hon. Minister of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Zanaib Ahmed, made this known at the end of the Federal Account Allocation Committee (FAC) meeting in Abuja.

The Minister disclosed that the conference is organized by FAAC, in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Finance Budget and Economic Planning.

She said the decision to hold the NACOFED was a unanimous decision and also stated that the nomination of Hon. Idris to head the local organising committee was collectively agreed upon by other members of the committee.

While describing the commissioner as a diligent goal getter, who has shown competence in administrative assignments, the Minister added that he has over the time demonstrated grate leadership qualities, uncommon and impeccable character who’s pedigree of service in his state is highly commendable.

Hajia Zanaib said she is optimistic that Hon. Idris will deliver an excellent result in organising a standard, educative and progressive conference.
