In a moving message titled “You Are a True Mother”, Hajia Ododo conveyed the gratitude of the people of Kogi State for the recent donation of wheelchairs, which she described as a symbol of restored dignity, renewed hope, and inclusion.
The donation, which was made on behalf of the First Lady of Nigeria by Her Excellency Hajia Nana Shettima, was part of the Renewed Hope Initiative, a nationwide humanitarian programme championed by Senator Oluremi Tinubu to reach vulnerable Nigerians across the country.
“Mummy, you have done it again “, Hajia Ododo declared, as she recounted the emotional scenes witnessed during the presentation of the wheelchairs. “I saw tears of gratitude and joy from our brothers and sisters whose lives have been touched by this act of compassion. It was a humbling moment that reminded us all that true leadership is best expressed in love and service.”
She praised Hajia Shettima for carrying out the gesture with humility and a strong sense of purpose, further emphasizing her constant reference to Senator Oluremi Tinubu as the driving force behind the intervention.
“Your repeated statement that you were doing it on behalf of the First Lady of Nigeria, Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, underscores your deep commitment to the Renewed Hope Initiative,” Hajia Ododo said. “That initiative has become a beacon of hope for countless Nigerians, bringing smiles to faces and joy to homes.”
