Kogi Government distributes COVID-19 palliative in Ogori-Magongo LGA

The immediate past Senior Special Assistant on Security to Kogi State Governor Hon. Goke Oparison, today began the distribution of COVID19 palliative in Ogori-Magongo local government area.

The distribution which began since last week Tuesday, 19th of October, followed the official flag off by the state government on the 11th August 2020.

Traditional rulers and other notable stakeholders in the local government who supervised the exercise commended the State Governor Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello for his kindness and magnanimity to the people of Ogori/Magongo and the state at-large.

The distribution which cut across all the Ten(10) Wards in the local government were accurately and peacefully shared to all the vulnerable citizens in the local government.

The visibly excited beneficiaries thanked the governor and prayed God to continually grant him the wherewithal to be able to lead the state to a greater heights.

While responding to their appreciation Hon. Oparison said the distribution of the palliative was meant to cushion the recent lockdown hardship and assured them of more government supports.
