Kogi Government Hails Appointment of Samuel Adeyemi Olumode as Controller General of Federal Fire Service

The Kogi State Government has congratulated Mr. Samuel Adeyemi Olumode on his appointment as the new Controller General of the Federal Fire Service by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR).

In a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo, the government described the appointment as a testament to Mr. Olumode’s hard work, professionalism, and dedication to national service.

The statement commended President Tinubu for reposing confidence in the people of Kogi State, affirming that the appointment of Mr. Olumode further demonstrates the President’s belief in the state’s capacity to contribute meaningfully to the nation’s development.

Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, according to the release, expressed pride in the new Controller General’s elevation, noting that the state government is confident Mr. Olumode will initiate reforms and improvements that will enhance the effectiveness of the Federal Fire Service.

“The Kogi State Government is proud of Mr. Olumode’s achievement and assures him of its full support as he takes on this important national assignment,” the statement added.

The government wished Mr. Olumode a successful and impactful tenure, expressing optimism that his leadership will not only transform the service but also further elevate Kogi State’s standing at the national level.
