Kogi Gov's saide, Calabash lauds Bello's support for entertainment, prays for his presidential bid »

The legendary Calabash who is the Senior Special Assistant to Kogi State Governor on Entertainment (Kogi Central) has aplauded the Governor for his continued love and support for the growth of the industry in the state.

The entertainer, known for his stage name rather than Hon Ismail Abdulrahman Obansa made the assertion at this year’s edition of Eche Enyene which held in Okene over the weekend.

Hon Calabash noted that the industry in the state especially Ebira land is currently witnessing boom because of the renewed commitment of the Governor to ensure practitioners are given due recognition.

He added that it would not have been possible for many of the positive reviews being enjoyed in the sector to happen, but that it was the love and passion that the Governor has repeatedly demonstrated that is making it happen and thanked his administration for the fear.

Hon Calabash, who expressed gratitude to the organisers and other people connected to the Eche Enyene for dedicating the 2021 edition to praying for Governor Yahaya Bello to succeed as the next Nigerian President said there was efficacy in virtuous women’s prayers.

He thanked those who have been supporting his push for the growth of the industry in Ebira land, especially political leaders and the state commissioners from the Central Senatorial District among others.

The entertainer, who used the occasion to express the commitment of all musical, dramatic and other artistic performers in the area to queue behind the Governor, added that they would back the Governor all the way beyond 2023.

Eche Enyene which is known as the Mother of All Festivals had the presence of Commissioners, leaders from various areas of human endeavors, political office holders, business moguls from the Central Senatorial District among others.

Entertainers from all walks of the industry and beyond also graced the occasion with various renditions that kept guests and fans glued.

Highlights of the occasion was awards presentation and the launch of the newest movie from the stables of Calabash Entertainment Crew, Prayers for Governor Yahaya Bello, and other eye catching events which made those who graced the occasion say they could not wait for the next edition.
