Kogi Guber: NKFI Rector Unveils Strategic Media Team, Grassroot mobilisers For Ododo/Oyibo

…hammers on the need for continuity, consolidation.

As the November 11 Gubernatorial Elections draw closer and the polity play out even in the media space, The Rector Nigeria -Korea Friendship Institute, Williams Charles Oluwatoyin has unveiled a strategic New media team, set up with the intention of galvanising support and implementing strategic online media campaign in support of the emergence of the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Usman at the polls.

While the aim is to compliment it’s media effort with physical mobilisation, a team of grassroot mobilisers was also unveiled which according to the Rector of NKFI will embark on a street to street orientation, canvassing and mobilisation campaign, stressing that the people must be reminded and assured of the good in continuity and consolidation.

The Rector who formally conducted the unveiling of the support group on Monday noted that the APC candidate still remained the most qualified amongst the other candidates presented by respective political parties adding that his track record of humility and good will speaks volume of the kind of leader he would become.

Williams Charles added that the political season comes with an array of issues, Prominent of which is the use of propaganda by respective political parties hence the need to use media platforms to demystify some of the negative narratives, while it’s team of grass root mobilisers will embark on sensitization across the nooks and crannies of the state to garner support for the candidacy of Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo and Comrade Joel Oyibo Salifu.

The Rector said “We are not new to this game. During the 2019 General Election, I was the state coordinator of the Buhari New Media Center (BNMC) and together with my team we recorded a huge success. I was also the Director General of the Yahaya Bello Media Center (YBMC) during previous elections in the state and similarly, we canvassed massively both online and offline”.

The Rector also added that his role as the Director General, North Central Coalition for Leadership (NCCL) where alongside other leaders from other states in the region made demands for more leadership consideration, was yet another note worthy role played in recent times.

While he urged the newly unveiled team to see this new assignment as yet another task worth delivering, he pointed out that the strategic aspect of the team’s operation must be kept out of public domain.
