Kogi Guber: Ododo Youth Center hails H’Court ruling on APC primaries
The Ododo Youth Mobilization Center has commended the Federal High Court for dismissing a case challenging the outcome of the APC governorship primary election for held on the 14th of April, 2023.
The suit filed by one of the aspirants, Senator Smart Adeyemi, against the emergence of the candidate of the party, Usman Ododo, was dismissed earlier today for lacking in merit.
Reacting to the judgement, the Director General of Ododo Youth Mobilization Center, Comrade Oladele Nihi in a statement made available to newsmen in Lokoja, praised the judiciary for not wasting time on frivolous issues, adding that the sound judgement by Justice J.K. Omotosho further validates the authenticity of the APC governorship primary election held across the state on the 14th of April.
He said the party in the state under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello conducted the primary election adjudged to be credible by observers from within and outside the state, stressing that anyone challenging the the outcome of the election were just wasting their time.
Nihi urged Smart Adeyemi and other aggrieved aspirants not to waste more resources in pushing further with the case as it’s already a dead-end. He called on all stakeholders of the party to unite as family under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello and work more to actualize the Kogi agenda which is the victory of the party’s candidate Alhaji Usman Ododo and his running mate, Comr. Joel Oyibo.
