Kogi NYCN endorses Ododo for Governor
Youths in Kogi state have thrown weight of support behind the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman, describing him as the best man for the job.
The leadership of the Kogi state chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), made this known on Tuesday after a management meeting held at the Youth House in Lokoja.
The decision of the Council contained in a communiqué signed by the Acting Chairman, Comr. Osiakor Sunday and other management members hinged their choice of Ododo on being the only candidate amongst the rest who has shown commitment to uniting the state and consolidate on the youths inclusiveness policies and programmes of Governor Yahaya Bello.
Osiakor said being an integral member of the New Direction administration along with his personal contributions to community development, the youths of the state are confident that the APC candidate would sustain the overall development strides being witnessed in the state.
The Acting Chairman similarly urged all organs of the council from the State, LGA, Ward and Polling Unit to immediately start mobilizing, campaigning and canvass votes for the delivery of the candidature of Alh. Usman Ododo Ahmed and Hon. Joel Salifu Oyibo to emerge winners in the November 11 polls.
