Kogi NYCN Program Officer II Congratulates Gov Ododo over Apex Court Judgment »

Comr. Blessing Ele-ojo, Program Officer Il of Kogi State National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), extends warm congratulations to the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on the Supreme Court’s landmark judgment reaffirming his gubernatorial victory.

In a statement made available to the Press, She emphasized that the judgement reflects the overwhelming free will of the people of Kogi State in their choice of Governor Ododo.

“This judgment exemplifies the integrity and fortitude of our judicial system in upholding democratic principles, thereby ensuring the people’s mandate is respected and continuity and stability is maintained in the Kogi political landscape,” she stated.

Echoing the Governor’s statement that ‘new leaders will emerge,’ the Program Officer commended the Governor’s commitment to inclusive governance, particularly his efforts to promote grassroots politics and promoting women and youth participation within his administration.

Recognizing the importance of unity for the state’s progress, the youth leader and Peace Ambassador called on all political actors, including those in opposition parties, to come together and work collectively for the betterment of Kogi State.

She stressed that, regardless of political differences, the shared goal of advancing the state should take precedence, in the spirit of fostering a peaceful and progressive environment.
