Kogi Poly Rector Congratulates New Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, Ohimegye-Igu of Koton-Karfe, Maigari of Lokoja

The Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Dr. Usman Ogbo has, on behalf of the Governing Council, Academic Board, Management, staff and students of the Polytechnic, expressed a heartily felicitate with the new Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, Alhaji Ahmed Tijani Anaje, the Ohimegye-Igu of Koton-Karfe, Alhaji Saidu Akawu Salihu (SAS), and Maigari of Lokoja, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir, on their ascension to the thrones of their forebears.

In a statement signed by the Rector and made available to journalists in Lokoja on Wednesday, he said, “Your Royal Majesties, your respective appointments are well deserved, considering your wide acceptability and vast experiences in the cultures and traditions of your people.

“This new level of leadership, no doubt, comes with special responsibilities that require renewed dedication, resilience, informed judgment and patience.

“We are, however, confident that you will deliver your responsibilities with the utmost fear of God and in the best interest of the peace and advancement of your domains.

“I pray Allah will guard and guide you in your new responsibilities and may your reigns further enthrone peace, cohesion and oneness in Kogi State.

“Once again, congratulations on this well deserved ascension to the revered thrones”
