Kogi Poly Rector Greets Governor Ododo, Muslims on Eid-el-Fitr Celebration

The Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman, has felicitated with the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, and the Muslim faithful on the occasion of the 2025 Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

In a goodwill message on behalf of the institution’s management, academic board, staff, and students, Professor Usman congratulated Muslims for the successful completion of the Ramadan fast. He emphasized the significance of the holy month as a period of spiritual reflection, devotion, and self-discipline.

He particularly extended his best wishes to Governor Ododo and the people of Kogi State, urging them to uphold the values of sacrifice, love, and compassion beyond Ramadan. According to him, sustaining these virtues will foster peace, unity, and progress in the state and the nation at large.

“As we celebrate, I encourage us all to sustain the values of sacrifice, love, and compassion beyond Ramadan, fostering peace, unity, and progress in our state in particular and the country as a whole,” he stated.

The Rector also prayed for Allah’s blessings upon the Muslim community and wished everyone a joyous and fulfilling Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
