Kogi Polytechnic Celebrates Governor Ododo on His Birthday
The management, staff, and students of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, have extended warm felicitations to the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a statement signed by the Rector of the institution, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman, the Polytechnic expressed profound gratitude and admiration for Governor Ododo’s exemplary leadership and commitment to the development of Kogi State.
The message described the Governor as a symbol of humility, generosity, and unconditional love, noting that these virtues have distinguished his tenure as a public servant. The statement further acknowledged his efforts in advancing the state’s New Direction Project, initiated by his predecessor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, and commended his contributions to rural development and urban renewal.
Noting the Governor’s relationship with the Polytechnic, the Rector praised his non-interference policy, which has preserved the institution’s autonomy and fostered academic excellence. The Polytechnic also lauded his visionary leadership and dedication to strengthening Kogi State’s security architecture.
“We celebrate you most warmly for your support and guidance to the Polytechnic and for your inspiring leadership, which continues to consolidate the gains of democracy in our state,” the statement read.
The Polytechnic prayed for continued divine guidance and wisdom for Governor Ododo as he leads the state towards greater heights.
