Kogi SSA Forum Gets New Executives
…congratulates Gov. Bello on remarkable fifth year in office
The forum of Senior Special Assistants in Kogi State has congratulated Governor Yahaya Bello on remarkable one year of second tenure in office.
The forum gave the congratulatory message at the appointments of its new executives to pilot the affairs of the group in the next three years in Government House, Lokoja.
Speaking, the Chairman of the forum, Hon. Ismaila Umar who is the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on ICT, described Governor Bello’s performance within the last five years as commendable.
According to him, the governor’s decision over the novel covid-19 made the state and the people recorded tremendous improvement in its economy, adding that contractors and investors were able to also come into the state to do business.
Some of the forum members who spoke, noted that the Governor’s action spoke volume of his heart and love for the people.
The SSA forum also commended the governor over the ongoing building of referral hospital in Okene, extension of specialist hospital foundation laying in Gegu-beki in Kogi West and Eganyin in Kogi central
This they said, if completed would be an extension to take care of the healthcare needs of people within and outside the state.
On recent employment of constabulary police, they applauded the determination of Governor Yahaya Bello to fight insecurity to zero level, saying that his leadership style is a display of fairness, equity and justice in all ramifications.
They promised to support the decision of Nigeria youths who have called on the governor to contest as president in 2023.
The appointed executives are:
- Chairman, Hon Ismaila Umar, SSA on ICT.
- Vice Chairman, Hon Mariam Ibrahim, SSA on Tourism.
- Hon. Tijjani Bin-Ebaiya as PRO.
- Hon. Sandra Mimi Musa as Treasurer.
- Hon. Victor Okee as Welfare Director.
- Hon. Avoyi Nwogu as Head, Media and publicity.
- Hon Joseph Olutimi as Secretary.
