Kogi State Government Flags Off Clearing of KSCOE (T) Mopa Permanent Site

The Kogi State Government has taken a significant step towards the development of Kogi State College of Education (Technical) Mopa by flagging off the clearing of its permanent site and opening of access roads. This move is a fulfillment of the government’s promise to rapidly develop the College and underscores its commitment to education.
Hon. Destiny Ademola, Chairman of Mopa Amuro Local Government, who was present during the flag off ceremony, highlighted the Kogi State government dedication to education and its promise-keeping track record. Adding that he is optimistic that the state government would provide the College with the necessary infrastructure to support teaching and learning, thereby creating an enabling environment for students and staff to thrive. Hon. Ademola also pledged the Local Government’s support and collaboration with the College’s leadership to ensure its rapid development.


The Provost of the College, Dr. M.K. Ibrahim, expressed his delight over the development, noting that the site would soon be transformed into a construction hub. He commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for this achievement and emphasized the government’s determination to transform the College. Dr. Ibrahim’s optimism about the future of the College is shared by the students and staff, who are eager to see the impact of the development on their institution.
The President of the Student Union Government, Ebajemito Abike Titilayo, thanked the Governor for the initiative and commended the Provost for his commitment to the College’s development. She assured the administration of the students’ support and loyalty, promising that they would work together with the College’s leadership to ensure the successful implementation of the development plans.
