Kogi State NG – CARES holds Stakeholders Sensitization meeting Tuesday
A stakeholders sensitization meeting on Kogi State Covid19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus programme for Results comes up on Tuesday 29th June, 2021.
This was contained in an announcement signed by the Chairman State CARES Steering Committee and Hon. Commissioner of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris.
The statement noted that invited stakeholders include key State Government officials, including the Secretary to the Sstate Government, members of the State CARES Steering Committee, Executive Chairmen of the 21 LGAs, representatives of Civil Society Organizations and Non Governmental Organisations.
Also expected at the event is Persons Living with Disabilities (PWDs), National Council of Women Society, Traditional Rulers, National Youth Council of Nigeria, key stakeholders of the Delivery Platforms, State Cares Coordinating Unit among others.
The event will take place at Glass House, Government House, Lokoja.
Kogi State COVID-19 ACTION RECOVERY AND ECONOMIC STIMULUS (NG-CARES) programme is aimed at mitigating the impact of COVID on the poor and vulnerable members of the society through targeted interventions on Social Transfer, Labour Intensive Public Works, Water, Health, Education, Sanitation, Nutrition, Food Security, Micro and Small Enterprises.
