Kogi Table Tennis Coach Praises Commissioner for Personal Contribution to Sport’s Growth
The Kogi State Table Tennis Coach, Friday Abbah, has commended the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe, for his personal contribution to the growth and development of table tennis in the state.
Coach Abbah made the commendation while speaking to journalists at the recently concluded Michael and Felicia Alabi National Table Tennis Championship in Otan Ayegbaju, Osun State.
He attributed the success of table tennis in Kogi State to the Commissioner’s efforts and commitment.
“Since Hon. Anyebe assumed office, the narrative of table tennis in Kogi State has changed for the better,” Coach Abbah said. “His personal contribution has made a significant impact on the success and progress of our athletes. We are grateful for his support and appeal to him to continue his efforts.”
The athletes, Joseph Marvelous and Joseph Victor, also expressed appreciation to the Commissioner for his support, which contributed to their success in the championship.
Coach Abbah called on well-to-do individuals to emulate the Commissioner’s efforts towards promoting table tennis in the state.
