LG Polls: Prof Ogbo Joins APC Rounds off Ward–to–Ward Campaign in Ankpa, Urges Electorates to Vote Engr Adamu

A Chieftain of All Progressives Congress, APC in Kogi State, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman joined the Ankpa Ward-to-Ward rallies on Wednesday, urging electorates to stand firm in their support for the party.

He gave the charge whilst traversing the thirteen (13) wards in Ankpa local government areas of Kogi State that culminated into a grand style in Ankpa Township.

The campaign train took off at the APC party Secretariat and pulled through the mammoth crowd of supporters and well-wishers in their thousands, cheerfully hailing and expressing their unflinching support to the chairmanship candidate, Engr Muammmed Adamu and other APC candidates.

The Ward to Ward Campaign witnessed a mammoth crowd of party leaders, supporters and admirers full of optimism to vote the APC on the 19th October, 2024.

Professor Usman, whilst addressing the electorate, urged them to vote for the APC Chairmanship candidate. He noted the candidate’s proven worthiness, demonstrated during his tenure as Chairman of the Transition Committee for Ankpa Local Government.

In a remarkable turn of events, Prof. Usman receives over 200 decampees from Social Democratic Party (SDP) into APC fold in Ankpa Township ward and urges them to adhere to the party ideology of its supremacy.

According to the decampees, the irredeemable impunity and impositions in the party has warranted them to dump the party to find peace and solace in the APC, as they promised to work assiduously for the APC to win with a landslide.

The Chairmanship Candidate, Engr. Muhammad Adamu, appreciated the people for their acceptability and massive show of love adding that a few key priorities, including peace and security, youths empowerment and infrastructural development.

He also thanked the leadership of the party and its stakeholders for their support and commitment, promising not to disappoint the confidence and trust reposed in him.
