Lokoja CTC Chairman Observes Eid Al-Adha Prayer at Gbaude, Pay Sallah Homage to Igu Kingdom »

The Lokoja LGA Transition Committee Chairman, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu observed the Eid prayer with kinsmen and other Muslim Ummah in Gbaude/Ijiho Community today.

The Chief Imam, Mallam Haruna Musa during the sermon urged the people to continue to live in peace and support the weak and vulnerable especially in the present hard times. He also admonished Muslims to also show compassion, empathy and love to one another.

The Caretaker Chairman who was joined by other members of the Lokoja Local Government Transition Committee and associates to celebrate Eid in his Community urged the Muslim Ummah to continue to pray for the Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and leaders at all levels.

The Chairman paid Sallah homage to Hon. Danladi Aguye, the Federal Lawmaker representing Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency at his country home in Karara and the Ohimegye Igu, HRM Alhaji Saidu Akawu Salihu at his Palace in Koton Karfe.
