Lokoja LG Chairman Receives IFAD-VCPD Delegation »

The Lokoja Local Government Chairman, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu, on Monday received IFAD-VCPD Delegation led by the State Project Coordinator, Dr Stella Adejoh in his office in Lokoja.

Dr Adejoh noted that it is one of the key policies to identify with all stakeholders and fashion out how to positively impact lives of rural farmers across the five benefitting local government areas in Kogi State.

The Council Boss in his remarks noted that as someone who has visited several communities in Lokoja II, he has seen first hand, the impact of VCPD in the livelihoods of the rural dwellers through their interventions that border on agricultural value chain of production, processing, and marketing.

While thanking Dr. Adejoh for the visit, he assured the team that the Local Government will continue to partner with Hajiya Rakiya Adamu, the Local Government liaison officer and the State coordinating Office to benefits to the people of Lokoja Local Government Area.
