Lokoja youths commend Gov. Bello on the choice of Edward Onoja as running mate »

Jubilant youths from Lokoja Local Government Area today took to the streets of the capital city to celebrate the decision of APC to field chief Edward Onoja as running mate to Governor Yahaya Bello.

The youths in their thousands danced to melodious tunes in a solidarity walk from the local government secretariat close to Paparada Square, down to Government house where they were received by the Chief of Staff to the Governor.

The leader of the group, Mr. Jimoh Tiamiyu said the walk was a display of solidarity with the decision of the party to fly a Bello/Onoja ticket for the forthcoming governorship election, saying that it was the best decision.

“Governor Yahaya Bello and Edward Onoja are leaders who share the same values and vision for the development of Kogi State, they have displayed quality leadership characters and have shown to us that indeed young people are assets to this state. The APC have taken the best of decisions and we want to say thank you to governor Yahaya Bello and the APC for applying wisdom”.

Honorable Suleiman Babaango, a Special Adviser to the Governor from Lokoja local government who also joined in the solidarity walk said he was happy because the party had made their job easier for them.

“words alone cannot express the depth of my happiness over the decision of our great party the APC to field Bello and Edward Onoja for the November election. They are both leaders with unmatched political sagacity and acceptance. This decision have made campaigning a lot easier for us because we have a sellable product in Governor Yahaya Bello and Edward Onoja”.

He expressed optimism that come November 16th, 2019, the youths will come out in their numbers to vote for APC.

Insidestoryng.com observed that positive reactions have so far trailed the emergence of Edward Onoja as running mate to Governor Bello as a similar walk was also embarked upon by youths in Anyigba, Dekina local government area of the state on Monday.
