Today the 11th of October 2021, the recently appointed Senior Special Assistant to Governor Yahaya Bello on Industries and productivity, Engr. David Oni Sunday, has began industrial tour around Kogi state beginning with Jakura Marble in Lokoja.

On his visit he met with some officials of the company and had a brief discussion on the situation of operation in the company and ways to which the government could work with the firm to achieve efficiency and higher productivity.

During their interaction, Hon David Oni asked some salient questions which made him discover that Kogi State has no representative at the management board of the company as only Kwara investment is solely represented having the Mining share which the Federal Government gives, simply because Kwara State initially was the host state before the creation of Kogi State. This makes Kogi State unworthy of every possible entitlements.

The SSA while inspecting the operation area admonished the officials and workers of the establishment to ensure a topnotch safe and healthy life style while on and off the job.
