The lockdown! People, largely of whom depends on daily income, are out of stocks, hungry and emotionally broken.
These are the masses and the only option left for them is to demand their welfare from the middle class. And to make this a result oriented mission, they have to bear arms and even kill if they must.
This is happening in lagos State where the chunk of the federal government’s intervention funds went.
The fate of the people in other states like KOGI which are least considered by federal government for any reasonable palliatives, depends on their Governors some of whom are already overwhelmed with the demands that comes with this covid19 control measures.
My Governor has been systemic in his approach amidst uprising in security threats in remote settlements of the state, state’s boundaries preventive measures, sensitization programs and unending distribution of food items, medical supplies and other palliatives are some areas of his strength.
This is one of the advantages of having a young man in power or position of authority. They think outside the box to proffer solution and make sure it works.
GYB takes the lead on this, given the present stretch of events and threat to life as witnessed In lagos state.
We must commend him for putting KOGI and the KOGI people first amidst these unrest despite bordering with 10 different states.
