We received with great joy, the news that some of our students of Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, who were abducted by gunmen on the 9th of May, have been rescued, hours after the State Governor’s visit to the institution.
The National President, National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS), Comr. Dr. Jeremiah Elukpo wishes to thank the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Usman Ododo, for his peculiar approach in ensuring the swift action that led to the rescue of the concerned students.
We salute our galant security operatives who intercepted the gunmen along with some Local Hunters that led to the rescue of our students.
He stated that NAKOSS has confidence in this present administration and encourages the security operatives not to relent in seeing the matter to a definite conclusion.
