The PBAT Door to Door Movement, Kogi State Unit, has reaffirmed its commitment to the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing his Renewed Hope Agenda as a source of inspiration for progress, development, and national unity.

The State Coordinator of the movement, Hon. Charity Ijese, made this known during a press briefing held at the NUJ Press Centre in Lokoja on Wednesday as part of activities marking Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary.

According to her, the group was established as a grassroots platform to strengthen the connection between governance and the people, ensuring that the benefits of purposeful leadership reach every household, street, and community.

“As our dear nation celebrates her 65th Independence Anniversary, we find it timely and symbolic to reaffirm our commitment to the vision and leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whose Renewed Hope Agenda continues to inspire development, progress, and unity across our beloved country,” she said.

Highlighting the day’s activities was an awareness walk along major streets in Lokoja, commencing from the NUJ Press Centre and terminating at Ganaja Junction. She explained that the peaceful exercise was aimed at demonstrating solidarity with President Tinubu and creating wider awareness of his administration’s efforts to sustain growth and stability.

She assured that the group’s campaign would be anchored on peace, orderliness, and inclusiveness, while commending security agencies and stakeholders for their support in ensuring the success of the event.

Ijese also urged Nigerians across all walks of life, youths, women, artisans, traders, and professionals – to rally behind the president, stressing the need to consolidate on the gains already achieved for a brighter national future.

While appreciating the press for its role in promoting democracy, she pledged the movement’s continued dedication to advancing the values of patriotism, respect for law and order, and faith in Nigeria’s democratic process.
