The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ali Bello, has congratulated the people of the state on the successful arrival of the New Year 2026, describing it as a fresh opportunity for renewed hope, unity and collective progress.

In his New Year message to Kogites, Alhaji Bello expressed gratitude to God for the preservation of lives through the outgoing year and commended residents for their resilience and support for the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

He noted that 2026 presents another chance to deepen peace, strengthen security and consolidate on the developmental strides already recorded across the state. According to him, the Ododo administration remains committed to delivering people-oriented policies that will improve livelihoods and promote inclusive growth.

The Chief of Staff urged citizens to continue to support government efforts by promoting peaceful coexistence, obeying the law and contributing positively to the development of their communities.

Alhaji Bello also reassured Kogites of the government’s resolve to sustain ongoing reforms and projects aimed at economic growth, youth empowerment and improved social services in the new year.

He concluded by wishing the people of the state a prosperous, peaceful and fulfilling New Year 2026, while calling on all stakeholders to work together for the continued progress of Kogi State.
