Dear Kogites,

As we bid farewell to the year 2024 and welcome a new chapter in 2025, I am filled with immense gratitude and joy. This momentous occasion affords us the opportunity to reflect on our collective journey, celebrate our achievements, and look forward to a brighter future.

As we joined the rest of the world to celebrate this new year, I am reminded of the immense potential that lies within our state.
Our state is blessed with an incredible array of human and natural resources. However, I am also aware of the gains and the impact of governance in terms of human capital development, infrastructural development and the overall economic growth made possible by the current leadership

This is why I am encouraging the governments to sustain the collaboration with citizens, civil society organisations, and the private sector to drive development and improve the quality of life for all Kogites. By working together, we can unlock the full potential of our dear state and create a brighter future for ourselves and generations to come.

With your confidence in me, I will continue to advocate for policies and programmes that promote economic growth, improve infrastructure, and enhance the well-being of our citizens. I will also work with relevant authorities to ensure that our state receives its fair share of federal resources and support.

In the spirit of the new year, I urge all Kogites to remain united, focused, and committed to our shared vision of a greater Kogi State. Let us work together to build a state that is just, equitable, and prosperous for all, under the leadership of our governor, Alh. Usman Ahmed Ododo and a nation under President Bola Ahmed, GCFR
