…NKFI graduates to return for jamb regularization
The Nigeria -Korea Friendship Institute and it’s close door neighbors Kogi state polytechnic, Lokoja have signed a Memorandum of Understanding agreeing to share valuable resources in the interest of both institutions.
As part of the agreement as mentioned by the Rector, Nigeria -Korea Friendship Institute, Mr. Williams Charles Oluwatoyin, graduates of the vocational and technical institute would be admitted into Kogi State Polytechnic, to obtain a Higher National Diploma and also embark on the compulsory National Youth Service Corps.
The Rector said “Kogi State Polytechnic will now admit students of NKFI on their Higher National Diploma Certificate programme, this is part of the agreement reached while we signed the MOU. We believe that both institutes can be of mutual benefits to both”.
The Rector similarly hinted that plans were on the way for graduates of the institute to embark on their Jamb regularisation exercise in a bid to further standardize the institutions academic activities.
He explained further that some of the students who were admitted to the institute without JAMB but desired to further into HND and then serve their father land through the NYSC scheme, the regularisation was meant specifically for them.
