No hiding place for criminals in Kogi – COS

The Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Pharm Jamiu Mohammed Abdulkareem has affirmed that the government of Yahaya Bello is more than ever, committed to chasing criminal elements out of the State.

He added that Government would not rest until they were no where to be found within the environ of the state.

The COS made this statement on friday when he received a donation of five units of operational vehicles from Dangote Group of Company as part of the organization’s CSR initiative.

Pharm Abdulkareem who received the donation at the Government House on behalf of the State Government thanked the company for its kind gestures towards the state.

He noted that the donation was part of the organisation’ s support to boost his the Governor’s fight against all forms of insecurity and criminality in the state

The COS stated that Dangote group have one of the largest cement plant, situated in the state in Obajana.

He pointed out that for them to be able to function effectively, they need a well secured environment which the Governor have been strifing to provide.

Pharm. Abdulkareem noted that the donation was a show of appreciation by Dangote Company and a recognition of the effort of the Governor, while they promised more of such vehicles to be delivered soonest.

The COS encouraged law abiding citizens of the state to continue in such good conduct while he warned those who have taken criminality as a hobby to desist.

He added that the state Government under Governor Bello’s watch would not give them space for their hobby.

The donation was made on behalf of Dangote Group of Company by the organisation’s Chief Security Officer.
