Ododo Media HQ Pays Courtesy Visit to Kogi Deputy Governor, Reaffirms Support for Government

A delegation from the Ododo Media Headquarters, a prominent group of online supporters of the Kogi State government, paid a courtesy visit to the Deputy Governor, Comrade Joel Salifu, earlier today. The visit, held at the Deputy Governor’s office in Lokoja, was aimed at briefing the Deputy Governor on the group’s activities and reaffirming their unwavering support for the current administration.

The delegation, led by the coordinator of Ododo Media Headquarters, Hon. Matthew James Omeiza, expressed their commitment to promoting the achievements and initiatives of the Kogi State government under the leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and Deputy Governor Joel Salifu.

Representatives who spoke on behalf of of members from the three senatorial districts of the state highlighted the group’s efforts in using social media platforms and grassroots engagements to disseminate information and counter misinformation about the government’s policies and programs.

“We are here to assure you that we remain dedicated to the cause of promoting the good works of the Kogi State government. “Our online platforms have been instrumental in reaching a wider audience and ensuring that the true narrative of the government’s efforts in development and governance is heard.”

The Deputy Governor, Comrade Joel Salifu, in his response, lauded the group for their proactive stance and the significant role they play in shaping public perception. He emphasized the importance of having a well-informed populace and acknowledged the challenges faced in combating misinformation.

He noted that the efforts of the group not only commendable but also crucial in the collective mission to develop Kogi State, adding that the government values the partnership with Ododo Media Headquarters and other supportive groups.

“Together, we can ensure that the people of Kogi State are well-informed about the government’s strides in various sectors.” he stated.

The Deputy Governor also took the opportunity to brief the group on the administration’s ongoing and upcoming projects aimed at improving the welfare of the citizens. He encouraged the group to continue their good work and assured them of conveying their message to the Governor.
