Ohueta Ward APC Stakeholders Hold Meeting to Galvanise Support for Ododo
In a bid to bolster support for Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo in the November gubernatorial election, key stakeholders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ohueta ward on Thursday convened a crucial meeting.
The gathering which was held in Ohueta-Ikuehi, Okehi Local Government Area, witnessed the convergence of prominent figures like Engr. Sunday Okateghwun, the Director General of the Ododo Mandate Movement, Comr. Jatto Danbello Abdulazeez, Hon.Yunusa H Apana, Hon. Otaru Usman APC Ohueta ward Chairman, Hon. Jerry Aroge, Hon. Dele Ononivami Mohammed, Mrs. Agnes Onimisi and others.
In his remarks, the APC Chairman of Ohueta ward stakeholders, Hon. Abdulganiu Olorunda, who said that the meeting became imperative in order to unite and work for a common goal, appealed to government appointees within the ward to channel all efforts towards ensuring a successful election for Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo.
Hon Sunday Okategnwu, who is known to always commit financially and otherwise to the progress of the party in the ward, assured the members of his support in the area of logistics to afford the team ease of movement to comb the nooks and crannies of Ihima for support.
The meeting which centered mainly on strategies to adopt in order to garner adequate support and win overwhelmingly at the grassroots level in the upcoming election concluded and arrived at arrangements for grassroots mobilisation, and community engagement in a couple of days.
In her closing remarks, Mrs. Agnes Ononivami Onimisi pledged her readiness to mobilise women aggressively, saying that the turnout of the stakeholders showcased their unity, determination, and willingness to work collectively to achieve victory.
