Says Chief Onoja’s Kindness knows No tribe or Religion

The Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Chief Edward Onoja has been described as one who is selfless and is compassionate to the plight of everyone irrespective of tribe or religion.

A journalist, Ahmed Isah Mamman gave this description while appreciating the Deputy Governor for offsetting his medical bills recently.

He said; “I am Ahmed Isah Mamman from Okene LGA in the Central Senatorial District of kogi state, and privileged mentee to His Excellency Chief Edward David Onoja, the Deputy Governor of Kogi State who is from the Eastern senatorial district of Kogi State.

“I have never seen such a detribalized personality in my years of existence on the surface of the earth. I have worked with politicians, but working and being associated with His Excellency has given me a paradigm shift about life,leadership,governance and above all human relations.

“For awhile have been battling with Typhoid and Malaria and all efforts to curtail this proved abortive.

“Personally, I have exhausted all resources at my disposal without seeing any commensurate improvements, which was how I knew it was beyond what a chemist can handle at that stage.

“At about 7pm on Sunday,I began running temperature and could not sleep up until 2 am, which was when I was rushed to a private hospital in Lokoja, Where I was admitted immediately and placed on drips.

“I forward a message to His Excellency informing him about the situation and to my amazement he replied with a word of prayer and equally assured me of hearing from him a bit later.

“My bills was running into several thousand which I wouldn’t have been able to shoulder ordinarily. But to the glory of God and the kindness of His Excellency,Chief Edward David Onoja CIK, That bill has been cleared.

“I was discharged today and I am back on my feet!

“I owe all this to God and His Excellency Chief Edward David Onoja, the Deputy Governor of Kogi State who has continue to be a blessing to my family, widening my horizon and for the gift of access.
