Okenyi Development Association (ODA) lauds Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim 'Halims' on donation of science equipments to Community Secondary School Okenyi »

Okenyi Development Association (ODA), the umbrella body of the people of Okenyi community in Ankpa local government area of Kogi State, has expressed it profound gratitude and appreciation to the honourable member representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency in the 9th National Assembly and the Chairman, House committee on Steel Development, Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali (Halims), over the recently donated mobile science equipment in other to enhance learning for students in the community.

In a statement signed by Linus Igoche, National President of Okenyi Development Association, he praised the lawmaker for fulfilling the promise made to the association. The statement reads; “We were overwhelmed with the gesture as we learnt that the mobile laboratory is one that can be used in classes during science practicals as students do not need to go out of the class rooms during classes because the mobile Lab will serve them during practical class sessions.

“On behalf of the people of Okenyi community, I sincerely appreciate your kind gesture in the provision of this science kits worth millions of naira to our Community Secondary School in Okenyi (CSSO).

“As a people, this is an evidence of your genuine concern for the educational growth and development of the constituency that you are representing.

“Thank you for the genuine supports and generosity. As a people, words are not enough to show our profound gratitude towards this goodwill.

“Distinguished Honourable, it is our believe that this goodwill donation was given birth to as a result of our visit to you during the yuletide. We thank you and still have our hopes and expectations high on the other promises you made to us at your residence in Ankpa that you will immediately assist our community(Okenyi) with borehole and the grading of the access road in the community.

“We are soliciting for your support, our major concern is on the rehabilitation and construction of the main road from Abache to Ojibogo. We shall be grateful if any part of this identified project is given a due consideration. As a people, we pray and hope that God almighty will provide you with the enabling resources to actualize this community impacting project for the people of Okenyi.
