Chief Olugbemi Femi, the Publisher/CEO of Democracy Newsline Newspaper/online blog, has joined family members, associates, and well-wishers in celebrating the 49th birthday anniversary of Alhaji Yahaya Bello, CON, the immediate past Executive Governor of Kogi State, describing him as a developer, captain of empowerment, distinguished philanthropist and humanitarian par excellence.

In a message he signed and made available to newsmen in Lokoja, Olugbemi described Yahaya Bello as an accomplished politician, a trailblazer, seasoned administrator, and a selfless, compassionate leader and father of modern Kogi state.

He highlighted the former governor’s profound impact on the three Senatorial Districts in the areas of road infrastructure, health care delivery, civil service reforms, agricultural development and above all education, little wonder he was able to established two universities within a space of three years, an unprecedented achievement.

He acknowledged the significant contribution of Yahaya Bello and his family in providing employment opportunities to many youths both in public, private sector and political appointments.
