He said the reward of hard work is more work even as he noted that improved socioeconomic standard of the people was his priority, hence his and the present administration’s commitment to improved social services to Igalaland and the state in general.

While stressing the need for the people of the state not to see the forthcoming November governorship election in Kogi State as a do-or-die affair, the Chief of Staff stressed the need for all candidates and the electorate to eschew all acts that would endanger the public and the democratic process.

In his remarks, the Senator representing Kogi East at the National Assembly, Senator Jibrin Isah applauded the choice of this year’s awards recipients and singled out Hon Onoja for his exemplary leadership style which he said embodied strength of character and determination to serve.

He therefore congratulated them and urged them to redouble their efforts towards service to Igala Nation for the development of the entire Kogi East and the state.
