PAAU VC Felicitates with Christians on Occasion of 2026 Easter Celebration
The Vice-Chancellor of Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman on behalf of the Management, Senate, staff and students of the University, warmly felicitates with Christian faithful on the auspicious occasion of the 2026 Easter celebration.
Prof. Usman notes that Easter, which commemorates the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, symbolizes sacrifice, redemption, and the triumph of hope over despair.
He therefore calls on Christians to reflect deeply on the teachings and exemplary life of Christ by embracing love, humility, peace, and selfless service to humanity.
“As we celebrate this occasion, I urge us all to draw lessons from the sacrifice of Christ and remain committed to promoting unity, peaceful coexistence, and mutual understanding, while shunning all forms of division and actions capable of undermining societal harmony,” he stated.
The Vice-Chancellor further encouraged Christians to use the solemn occasion to pray and work towards the continued growth and development of Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, as well as the progress of Kogi State and Nigeria at large.
The VC prays that the blessings of Easter will bring renewed hope, peace, and divine favour to all.
Once again, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman, wishes all Christians a joyous and fulfilling Easter celebration.
