The statement specifically calls out Jackson Ude, labeling him as a “clout-chasing criminal” and “blackmailer,” accusing him of spreading false information about Yahaya Bello’s involvement in the protests. Citing past instances, the media office highlights Bello’s role in mediating between Northern food transporters and their Southern counterparts to avert a major crisis, as well as his involvement in challenging the Naira Redesign Policy, which led to a Supreme Court judgment that helped stabilize the nation.

The statement also mentions Bello’s efforts in mobilizing support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the 2023 Presidential Poll, underscoring his loyalty and commitment to the current administration.
