Poll victory: Faleke congratulates Adeyemi, thanks Kogi West for voting smartly
The Chief of Staff to the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Honourable Sunday Faleke has congratulated senator Smart Adeyemi for his victory in Saturday’s senatorial rerun election, while thanking the people of Kogi West for the smart choice of voting massively for APC to bring in a new dawn after four years of dark night.
While addressing newsman on Sunday afternoon in his residence in Lokoja, Faleke said, Adeyemi’s victory will usher in quality representation that will reposition Kogi West and that will be of great benefit to the entire state.
He said the victory has rekindle hope and brought succour to the long misrepresented people of Kogi West.
“The good people of Kogi West have used their votes to bring change. We endured the national embarrassment brought on us by the shameful acts of former senator Dino Melaye and waited for the right time to strike.
“Kogi West have once more shown that we are a people well cultured and vast in politics, we don’t tolerate misdemeanors.
“We tolerated the national embarrassment for four years, but today we are rid of it and are set to reposition Kogi West in its rightful place”. He said
The Deputy Chief of Staff advised the ousted Dino Melaye to use this period to reflect on his lifestyle and turn a new leaf, saying that the insincerity in his acts and utterances made the people to reject him.
He thereafter assured the people that Smart Adeyemi will not dissapoint, and called on them to support the senator as he join hands with Governor Yahaya Bello to bring more development to the state.
