Professor Ajibero; Kogi Has Lost An Academic Enigma- Ibrahim Idris
Former Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has condoled the people of Kogi State over the death of former Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic, Professor Mathew Ajibero.
Idris in a statement issued said his death came at a time the wise and elderly advise is needed in Kogi state to move the state forward.
He recalled how late Professor Ajibero’s wealth of experience both in public and academic circle brought a lot of developement and stability to the state Polytechnic, Lokoja.
According to former Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, “aside his appointment and meritorious service at the Polytechnic,he was our rallying point when issues that boaders on our tertiary institutions came to fore while I was in goverment.”
“My administration was lucky to have attracted such a brilliant and level headed academic, who turned around the state Polytechnic,the template that is currently being sustained by subsequent leadership of the Institution.”
Alhaji Ibrahim Idris commiserated with the immediate family over the loss,praying for the repose of his soul.
