Provost COET Mopa, Celebrates Wemi Jones on Birthday

The Provost of Kogi State College of Education (Technical), Mopa, MK Ibrahim, has congratulated the Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Wemi Jones, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a visionary leader committed to repositioning the state’s education sector.

In a statement issued on behalf of the Governing Council, management, staff and students of the institution, the Provost lauded the Commissioner’s reform-driven leadership and policy direction, which he said have strengthened standards, improved service delivery and fostered sustainable growth within the sector.

He particularly acknowledged the support extended to Kogi State College of Education (Technical), Mopa under the Commissioner’s supervision, noting that the interventions and guidance provided have enhanced the institution’s academic stability and overall progress.

According to him, the Commissioner’s commitment to technical and vocational education has contributed significantly to promoting skills acquisition and practical-based learning across the state. He emphasized that such efforts are vital for youth empowerment, industrial development and long-term economic sustainability.
