Propelled by itchy mischief and unrestrained venom, a campaign built on feeble innuendo and lies has been flying around in surreptitious cowardice by elements whose stock in trade is mischief. In their warped conjecture, they cried that the throne of Ejeh Ankpa and the selection of His Royal Highness, Abubakar Sadiq Ahmed Yakubu II as the Ejeh Ankpa and Chairman Ankpa traditional council by the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello is in contest. There is no falsehood farther than this. This is nothing but a manifest of a dying horse whose kick is weak and sapped.

The throne of the Ejeh of Ankpa is not in contention whatsoever and His Royal Highness, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Ahmed Yakubu II remains stoic and dignified as the substantive scion of the throne.

This correspondence is coming not in response to the watery mischief of the undesirable elements but to assuage the good people of Ankpa not to give heed and attention to rabble-rousers, traducer and serial meddlesome interlopers. The throne of the Ejeh of Ankpa is not a frivolity. The blessed Ejeh is very much ingrained in his expedition to sustain the pedigree of the throne, attract genuine development to the land and make the land a fascinating reference of peace and prosperity.

The good people of Ankpa are enjoined to disregards the purported falsehood being peddled by elements writhing in constricted pains;
His Royal Highness Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Ahmed Yakubu II sits in honour and dignity as the Ejeh of Ankpa and plans are in top gear to have him presented with the staff of office by His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State.
