… expresses optimism over his ability to build on Former Gov. Bello’s solid foundation

The Rector Nigeria-Korea Friendship Institute of Vocational and Advanced Technology, Williams Charles Oluwatoyin has on behalf of the institution extended a hearty congratulation to the Kogi State governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and his Deputy, Comrade Joel Salifu over their successful inauguration on saturday.

The Rector made this known on Saturday in a press statement made available to the media, where he expressed optimism over the new administration’s ability to consolidate efficiently on the solid foundation laid by the former governor Bello led administration.

The Rector said “Today is yet another historic period in the political history of our dear kogi state and we at the Nigeria-Korea Friendship Institute of Vocational and Advanced Technology are delighted to share in this momentous and Joyous occasion”.

“On behalf of the Governing Council, Academic Board, management, staff and students of our institution, I congratulate His Excellency, the Executive governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo and his deputy, Comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo on their swearing-in to take the helms of affairs of kogi state, the confluence of opportunities”.

He added that the occasion marked the beginning of a new chapter, filled with opportunities to lead, inspire, and make a positive impact on the lives of the people you now serve. Your dedication to public service and the vision you have articulated for the future of Kogi state are truly commendable.

“As you embark on your journey to consolidate on the solidly laid foundation by His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and his New Direction team, We at NKFI are confident that your leadership will bring about more positive changes, foster unprecedented growth, and further enhance the well-being of the citizens” he added.

“For us at our institution, we believe in our capacity to foster your new administration’s drive towards empowering the youths in areas of technical and vocational education, thereby reducing drastically concerns of youth unemployment. We are passionate about turning the Nigeria-Korea Friendship institute into a technology hub centre, with the intent of driving innovation and globally relevant solutions. Your Excellency sir, while we welcome you on board, we are delighted to assure you that our institution have an array of Programs that your government can tap into in a bid to achieve many of its desired goals”.

He prayed that the governor’s tenure be marked by inclusivity, transparency, and progress while expressing the believe that his leadership would not only meet the expectations of the electorate but will also exceed them.
