S/C Verdict: Rector NKFI Congratulates Gov. Ododo Over Victory, Lauds judiciary's Steadfastness Despite Pressure »

The Rector, Nigeria -Korea Friendship Institute of Vocational and Advanced Technology has congratulated Kogi state governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo over his victory at the supreme court affirming him as the duly elected governor of the state.

The Rector in a congratulatory press statement signed on Friday said the final victory for the consolidation government is a testament that it emerged on the massive support of the masses and regardless of efforts by the opposition to bring such truth to disrepute.

The Rector remarked that doubters of the Gov. Ododo mandate were proven through all the herculean but rewarding judicial process which validates the legitimacy and popularity of his government, adding that after several attempts by the opposition to invalidate the November 11, victory of the APC, the judicial arm of government have spoken loudly

The Rector pointed out that government of Ahmed Usman Ododo had started on a very strong note and it would rather be unfair to the people of Kogi state with so much high hopes to have it cut short by some selfish interest of some group of individuals.

According to him, the judgement have now resolved all legal contentions and gov. Ododo’s administration would be able to function fully to the maximum benefits of the people of the state touching various sectors of growth and development with a keen interest to further consolidate of the achievements of the immediate past governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello in the area of education, science and technology, which NKFI is very concerned.
