School Adoption Program: Kogi Auditor General of Local Govt, Ododo to distribute 11k free science text books to schools »

The School Adoption and Mentorship Programme recently introduced by the Kogi state Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology has as it’s objective, to revive the lost glory of education in the state through interventions from all stakeholders.

It is delightful to note that the initiative has been greatly patronized by well-meaning Kogites. One of such is Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, Auditor General of Local Government, who has deemed it fit to produce Physics and Chemistry Textbooks for public secondary schools across Kogi State.

The books are titled Chemistry Made Easy and Physics Made Easy. These books were reviewed by the relevant Directorate of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology to confirm their suitability for use by secondary schools.

The ministry has invited general public to the flag-off and distribution of these textbooks to Senior Secondary Schools in Kogi Central Senatorial District.

According to the schedule released by the the ministry, the event is slated for Friday, 11th November, 2022, at Abdulazeez Atta Memorial College, Okene, by 10am prompt.
